Global warming is such a huge problem that individuals may adopt the attitude that there is very little an individual can do to affect the problem. Also, it's a bit like the car driver who believes that there are too many cars on the road but everyone else should go by bus! How do we convince people that the individual can make a difference and, yes, it is up to each individual to take responsibility for change. I wish I knew the answer! I'd retire on the proceeds!! Seriously, I think that no one initiative will cure the problem. More a combination of many minor changes in the way we live our lives. Educating young people is the key to long term reduction and believe it or not, I think we do this well. Unfortunately, it will not happen tomorrow.

Think this initiative is a really great idea. Good luck to everyone involved.

the way i think that we could help with the car problems are possibly running cars by either, battery/electricity or a way that had been thought of which i don't no if it has been tried is by trying to run cars with breathing in carbon dioxide and letting out oxygen and thats my comment on cars.

the number of cars on the road is ridiculous, what annoys me more is people that can take a ten minute walk to the shop but instead they take their cars!! the amount of money charged for road tax is goin up but i dont think thats the thing to do!! the goverment should spend their money on a different way to fuel transport so we DONT DESTROY THE EARTH THERE IS A SOLOUTION!! becky n emma 1b3

Everyone is a part of this world so i think everybody must contribute towards stopping this masive problem of global warming.People must try to reduce fumes produced in cars and aerosols.Kids also must be educated on how important this subect is and that it must be done over a long, long period of time. It wont happen over a week.

YES I TOTALY AGREE THAT THERES TO MANY CARS ON THE ROAD AND WE SHOULD THINK ABOUT CREATING ELECTRICAL CARS, BUS'S AND TAXI'S. OR CAR THAT RUN ON CARBON DIOXIDE AND GIVE OUT OXYGEN WHICH CAN BE USED BY THE OTHER BILLION PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS MY IDEAS SO GET ON WITH IT AND PRODUCE THESE CARS

Pedal cycling is the answer -what plans are there for bike sheds in the new school?( how many members of staff remember these?)
Pupils - would you cycle to school if there was a dry and secure place to put your bike?

If you live too far away! Staff - a motorcycle is the answer - less damage to the environment, less impact on our roads and no problems with parking!!!!!!
